Autumn Day

Black Cat Looks Hungry

Visiting his favourite restaurant.

Catching bugs for lunch.

Resting under the shade of the tree.

Beautiful flying birds that look like a rainbow.

Romantic bushes crunching away.

Wind blowing trees back and forwards, looks colourful.

Bugs crunching away, chewing plants.

Wind blowing the trees, side to side.

Oh man, I want that fish!

How am I going to get in there?

Better not fall in mate!

Going home with a full stomach.

Getting fit again.

Have a little sleep.

Ohinemuri's Story

The Museum.

Yesterday me and Aliyah went to the museum, because it was a trip. Then we went to the Discovery Center. There were lots of animals, and creepy creatures, but my favourite part was the playground because it had lots of stuff. Then we had to walk back to the art gallery, then we had to go back to school.

The sea is a

big, blue water hole

Already it has eaten

the dark ships

What next?

The whales?

No! More fish in

the sea will do

It opens wide

and swallows

Grace's Story

At my Uncles

In the holidays I went to my uncle’s, we played games It was fun because we haven’t been there before. Jasmin and me were playing on the Nintendo’s. There were two of them.

There were five games to play I was playing Worms, my mum loves Worms.

It was hard playing that. When I was on Jasmine's Nintendo I was playing Ratatouille. Ratatouille was a fun game because you have to move the controller and then he will move. When I was there it was very cool.

Animal Cruelty Poem

Please don’t kill or torture us,

We don’t like this habitat.

Don’t hurt me or kill me,

I have a heart and life too.

I feel disgusted and devastated

about experiments on animals.

I feel like they are really cruel to animals.

I feel they are not safe around animals.

Kill them, then experiment.

They might say it’s ok because we are testing

on it for humans.

They torture and kill

them for products for humans which

is not all right because it’s not just

about us.

We don’t want you to test

on animals because it’s disgusting and

devastating for children to see, as well as others

who love animals.

The animals are getting tortured and

wounded as well as harmed.

Animal Cruelty Poem

Horrible, evil, vile, disappointing mistreated.

It’s adequate because it can save lives.

People would say it is vile, cruel, evil and saddening to know animals are being treated like that.

They would prattle it is not pleasant.

It involves hurting and poisoning animals.

The wildlife would say that they hate it and disagree with it.

Lives getting destroyed, blood and guts.

Shrieking and machines.

Rage, sorrow, sadness.

Harmed and destroyed.
