How easy was it to get stuck into this book?
Sakura is a card collector but she doesn't collect normal cards they are magic cards. And when an other magic card collector comes to town it is even more critical to collect the cards.

Who are the main characters?
Sakura is the main character, Kero is the guide and friend, the new boy another card collector, Madison Sakuras friend and the only person that knows her secret and wants to tape every time Sakura tries to collect the magic cards, the magic cards that cause havoc in town.

What is the storyline?
This episode is about the Clow Card Thunder and it is making a thunder storm on a sunny day. Also about the new boy in town.

How's it written (style)?
This story is written in mysterious and exciting writing.

How easy was it to get stuck into this book?
This book was very easy to get stuck into. As soon as I started to read it I noticed that Spirulina was the type of girl who loved adventures. She didn't like to sing and brush her hair all day like her two sisters, but she never had something fun to do.

Who are the main characters?
The main characters in this story are the powerful King Neptune, his three daughters: Spirulina, Coralie, Shelle; the helpful Albi; and the evil mastermind Ariel.


What's the story line?
One day on Mermaid Rock King Neptune declared that his treasure was stolen and that he had made a bet with the Evil Ariel for his treasure and he LOST. But much worse than that, with his treasure stolen Ariel said "If I can't have the treasure I'll have the palace, you have till sunset to find my treasure." Will they make this deadline?

How's it written?
This story is written in a very easy to read style and it gives great descriptions on everything.

How easy it was to get stuck in the book?
Well, once you read the first page, you would not want to stop reading. The first page is about Sophie and the
witching hour. The witching hour is when all the humans are asleep and all the giants are allowed in the human countries but if a human is awake and sees them, the giant has to take the human who saw them back to the Giant Country.

Who are the characters?
The main characters are: Sophie (a little girl), the BFG (Big Friendly Giant), the Bloodbottler (a big mean giant) and the Fleshlumpeater (the biggest! the meanest! of all giants). The Queen is also in the story.

What's the story line?
Well, the story is about Sophie who lives at an orphanage. One night she cannot sleep because the moon is shining on her eyes. When she gets up to shut the curtains she sees a giant and the giant sees her. It is the witching hour. Sophie then runs to her bed and hides under her blankets. The giant puts his big giant hand through the window and snatches her from her bed and runs all the way to his cave as fast as he can.

How's it written?
It has lots of describing words and it puts you in the characters' shoes. It's a really imaginative story.

I give the book 4 out of 5. The story is really interesting at the beginning, but it is boring in some parts.

Mermaid Rock-Treasure Hunt

How easy is it to get stuck into this book?
By looking at the cover alone, you instantly find interest. Bored as Spirulina is, she finds a great adventure with her new friend, Albi, to find the missing treasure that's been stolen from her father, Neptune. While her sisters weep, Spirulina searches high and low but I'm not sure they want to hear the answer they seek.

Who are the main characters?
Spirulina is the courageous mermaid, fighting time to save her home. Shelle and Coralie are her sisters, they think Spirulina cannot find the treasure in time but that won't stop Spirulina. Albi, her courageous albatross, will fight with her until the end; and Neptune, the worried father, seeks for his Spirulina to be safe and sound.

What's the story line
" My treasure has been STOLEN!" roared Neptune. Spirulina, Shelle and Coralie are relaxing while singing beautiful lullabies until suddenly Neptune (their father) interrupts them, sliding and sweeping through the clear blue waters, splashing the three mermaids. With such horrible news, Spirulina has the courage to help find the special treasure before the great evil Ariel keeps the floating palace. But, this all needs to be done before sunset! How are they going to make it in time?

How is it written?
It is written really creatively, it has many sentences and words that make you visualise what's happening and is also very unpredictable. This book will suit many girls from ages 5-12, but if you like a great action-packed book, I'd recommend it for anyone.

None, but will be looking forward to reading more of Kelly McKain books, including the series of Mermaid Rocks.

How easy was it to get stuck into this book?
This story takes you for the craziest ride of your life, running around in circles and trying to survive, while you are solving the mystery that would either kill you, or give you a lot of reward money.

Who are the main characters?
You are the main character trying to solve the biggest mystery of your life. Ricardo and Lisa are your friends, last of all Sergeant Morrison, the police officer, who helps you solve the mystery in parts.

What's the story line?
You get stuck in a mystery that the characters can't solve alone so it is up to you to find the end of this mysterious book, and you might get caught in a death trap or you could solve the mystery and get on with your life. You make different decisions, and go to different pages to see what happens next.

How's it written?
This book is written with an action-packed story line and has a lot of enthusiasm for an A+ story.
